Chester 2012 Potluck at
The Captain's House in Chester
Jani Botha on the left was responsible for decorating the tables with African craftwork seen in the pictures above.
The Captain's House at 33 Central Street, Chester, was generously donated for the day by the owner, Carol Hansen.

It is normally used for events such as wedding receptions.
The Captain's House was occupied for the day by almost sixty South Africans.
Enjoying a cup of tea before the rush for the food.

Is the meeting around the flagpole discussing taking the flag down?.
There was literally "Food for Africa" - braai chicken, boerewors, potjie, bobotie, oxtail, kudu frikadelle made with moose meat and many more tasty dishes.

The dessert included fruit salad, malva pudding, vetkoek, koeksisters, etc.
Enjoying lunch outside to soak in the sun.  The kids had ample place to run around and explore.
